Abstract
Aspen Plus software was used to simulate the extractive distillation process of ethyl acetate-methanol azeotropic system with tributyl-methylammonium acetate([N4441][OAC]) as the entrainer. The influence of seven parameters, including the solvent ratio, the theoretical plate number and feed position of extractive distillation column and extractant recovery column, and the reflux ratio of extractive distillation column and extractant recovery column on the purity of the top product and the heat duty of the two columns were systematically studied through sensitivity analysis. These seven parameters were optimized by sensitivity analysis, and the optimization results are as follows:the optimal the solvent ratio is 0.13,the optimal number of theoretical plates of extractive distillation column and extractant recovery column are 35 and 4,respectively,the optimal feed positions are the 8th plate and the 3rd plate, respectively, and the optimal reflux ratio of extractive distillation column and extractant recovery column are 0.96 and 0.82,respectively.Under the optimized process parameters, the mass fractions of ethyl acetate at the top of the extractive distillation column and methanol at the top of the extractant recovery column can reach more than 99.9%.
