Abstract
In order to explore the effect of pre-treatment on the corrosion performance and corrosion mechanism of different aluminum alloys, domestic sheets AA1060,AA2024,AA3003,AA5052,and AA6061 were selected as the research objects.Through neutral salt spray experiment and electrochemical test, different aluminum alloys before and after polishing treatment were tested and characterized. The results show that after 24 h of neutral salt spray test, the surface of the polished and unpolished aluminum alloys has different degrees of corrosion. The electrochemical test results show that the self-corrosion potential of AA1060,AA2024,AA3003,and AA5052 aluminum alloys decreases to varying degrees. And the polarization resistance of AA1060,AA3003,and AA5052 aluminum alloys al increases to varying degrees. The comparison shows that AA2024 is the most severely corroded.
